My research focuses on promoting social connection, reducing loneliness and social isolation, and improving health, well-being, and participation among aging populations with and without disabilities. A central area of my work is the development of interventions to reduce loneliness. My current projects aim to build the evidence base needed to inform the design and implementation of these interventions. Methodologically, I use qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches, often in collaboration with community partners.
