I am a clinician and researcher in the area of Hematology and Aging.  As the Director of the Program for Aging and Blood Cancers at City of Hope, I aim to advance our understanding of the impact of Aging in the context of Blood Cancers, with a focus on curative intent therapies such as allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation.   Specifically, we have developed a multi-disciplinary team targeting healthspan improvement for older adults pursuing allogeneic transplantation. I also have significant interests in understanding and developing treatments for anemia in older adults.
