Patricia Garcia, Psy.D., ABPP-CN, L.P. is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with clinical and research interests in how language experience and sociocultural factors—bilingualism, acculturation, education, and literacy—influence neuropsychological performance and the clinical expression of neurological disease. Her clinical work centers on expanding neuropsychological services for multilingual, monolingual non-English-speaking, and culturally diverse adults. Her research has examined cognitive and functional outcomes, neuropsychological measurement, and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias biomarkers across diverse populations. She also has experience in community-engaged research and applies Agile Science methods to improve the inclusion, recruitment, and retention of historically understudied populations in ADRD and brain-injury research.
