I am a VA pulmonologist and geriatrics health services researcher in the Durham VA. As part of a multidisciplinary team I study how to improve care delivery for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, and related forms of chronic lung disease. I focus on age-related and other barriers to care with a long-term goal of identifying targets for intervention.
